Ban Plastic Use
The World Environment Day 2025 was celebrated at Rithwik Projects Head Office and across project sites. In line with Prime Minister of India’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” plantation drive launch, tree saplings were planted across all project’s sites.
At the Mydukuru – Badvel Road Project Site Ch. No 595+850, NHAI Project Director, IE consultant team, Project Head among others participated in the tree plantation drive. Similar programme was organized at Dhaulasidh Hydroelectric Project Site where awareness on different types of pollution such as Noise, Air, Water and Land was explained to the workers. This was followed by a plantation drive at project site office, Dhaulasidh Baba Temple and at RPPL New Staff Colony.
Besides tree plantation, awareness programmes were held on this years UN theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution‘ across project sites, where, the need to ban the use of single use plastic and adopting environment friendly alternatives were discussed.
Employees also took a pledge to reduce the use of ‘single use’ plastic in their daily routine.
